About TEA @ CPP

Affiliated with the national Themed Entertainment Association, TEA at CPP (Cal Poly Pomona) provides a one-of-a-kind club where engineering, hospitality, art, and many other majors gather together and learn about the themed entertainment industry and how they can become a part of it. With guest speakers from the industry and themed competitions, students leave this club armed with experience that will help them in their future goals to pursue themed entertainment careers.

A group of students started this club in Fall 2019 and did not expect many people to show up to the first meeting. However, when the day came, they had a packed room. Since then, the club has gained many new members who share their love of themed entertainment with others through behind the scene tours, fun NextGen events, and exciting new speakers from the themed entertainment industry. With the onset of each new school year, the original board members are proud to see that the popularity of this club will provide a lasting power at Cal Poly long after the original board members graduate.
